Integrative psychotherapy and EMDR
The essence of the process
For me, therapy is this process in which we leave ourselves space to consider ourselves, to explore ourselves, to get to know each other and where we release the unfinished business that limits our ability to be.
Therapy is a safe meeting space where we shed light on what is in the dark, repetitive and painful and (re)construct in the service of well-being and health. Where we give meaning to what we didn't have before and we can heal the wounds that have left a mark.
I offer both individual and family therapeutic support, adapting to the needs of each case.
Tools and models I integrate
I work with various therapeutic tools adapted to each individual
EMDR
With this therapeutic approach, we activate the brain's innate capacity to process difficult or traumatic experiences that have become blocked and generate persistent distress or symptoms. This allows you to integrate what you have lived and regain well-being and security.
Systemic Model
Distress does not arise in isolation but within a family and social context. From this perspective, we focus on relationships and bonds, exploring how these connections influence you in the present and how to modify patterns to promote balance.
Individual Family Constellations
With the help of figurines and other elements, we can look at and heal issues related to order, belonging, and hierarchy within the family system. This helps you find your own place from which to draw strength for your life's path.
Rebirthing (Conscious Breathing)
We incorporate conscious and connected breathing to help release emotional blockages that may stem from the prenatal and perinatal stages and throughout life.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
We identify thought and behavior patterns that sustain distress and practice more adaptive alternatives.
Every proposal is at your service, and I will adapt each tool to your needs and pace.
Find out who I amThe Process
Before starting, we have a welcome call to make first contact and clarify any
doubts.
During the first visit, we look at what is troubling you, begin to build an
understanding of it, and define where you want to go, agreeing on specific goals. From there, I make
a therapeutic proposal and we hold bi-weekly sessions (or weekly if necessary), reviewing and
adjusting the process while always respecting your pace.
When the process calls for it, we coordinate referrals (psychiatry, nutrition, public/private resources) and plan the gradual closure of therapy.
